Demonstrating new levels of integration between EMC Smarts Application Discovery Manager and EMC Infra
EMC Infra is showcasing its100 percent web-based solution for best practice IT Service Management - voted Best Service Management Product of the year by Network Computing Magazine – on stand P32/P33 at the itSMF Conference, 10-12 November 2008 in Birmingham. EMC’s end-to end Service Management solution powered by a Federated CMDB with plug-in connectors to third party applications, automates Configuration and Change workflow processes and features fully integrated Customer Portal and Service Catalog.
On the stand, EMC Infra is giving the UK's first public demonstration of the recently announced integration between EMC Smarts Application Discovery Manager (ADM) and EMC Infra. New levels of integration between EMC's core IT management applications allows customers to apply the power of automated application discovery to support dependency-driven Change Management, service impact analysis and automated Configuration Management Database (CMDB) population.
EMC Infra has a special focus on the role of the Service Catalog in guiding service development and enhancing communication between IT and the business for business advantage. A free Service Catalog whitepaper will be available from the stand, and conference delegates can enter a prize draw with the chance to win Apple’s latest iPOD Touch.
